Our process

How We Deliver Software Projects

A clear framework with no black boxes and no surprises. You are part of the team from day one.

  1. 01

    Discover

    We listen first.

We interview stakeholders and users, map how work is done today and review existing systems and data. We also check whether an off-the-shelf product would do the job before recommending a custom build.

    What you get

    • Written scope and goals
    • Prioritised feature list
    • Risks and assumptions
    • Phased estimate and timeline
  2. 02

    Design & Plan

Architecture, wireframes and a clear roadmap.

Designers create wireframes and visual designs for key screens, often as a clickable prototype tested with real users. Engineers choose the technology stack, design the data model and plan integrations, hosting and security.

    What you get

    • Clickable prototype or designs
    • Technical architecture
    • Milestone plan
  3. 03

    Build & Iterate

Continuous delivery, not a big reveal at the end.

Work happens in one- to two-week iterations. Each ends with a demo of working software on a staging environment you can try yourself. Priorities are adjusted based on your feedback. Code is reviewed, and automated tests run on every change.

    What you get

    • Working software every iteration
    • Shared project board
    • Staging environment
  4. 04

    Launch & Support

We stay with you well after the first release.

We set up production infrastructure, migrate data, configure monitoring and backups, and train your team. After launch we provide support covering security updates, bug fixes, performance tuning and new features.

    What you get

    • Production deployment
    • Documentation and training
    • Monitoring and backups
    • Support agreement

Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical project take?

Most web and mobile builds run 6 to 14 weeks from kickoff to launch. Larger systems are delivered in phases. See how long software development takes for more detail.

How involved do we need to be?

We ask for a decision-maker who can join a short demo and planning session every iteration, and access to the people who will use the system.

What happens if requirements change?

Change is expected. Because we work in short iterations, new requirements are prioritised against existing work, and we are clear about the effect on timeline and cost.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We are comfortable signing NDAs before detailed discussions and treat client information as confidential by default.

Who owns the code?

You do. Code lives in a repository your business controls, and infrastructure is set up in your own accounts.
